The Covenant

Suatu hari sekolah kedatangan murid baru lagi.

GI Joe The Rise of Cobra 2009

In the near future, weapons expert James McCullen (Christopher Eccleston) has created a nanotechnology-based weapon capable of destroying an entire city. His company M.A.R.S. sells four warheads to NATO, and NATO troops are tasked with delivering the warheads. Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans) are delivering the warheads when they are ambushed by the Baroness (Sienna Miller), whom Duke recognizes to be his ex-fiancee Ana Lewis. Duke and Ripcord are rescued by Scarlett (Rachel Nichols), Snake Eyes (Ray Park), Breaker (Saïd Taghmaoui) and Heavy Duty (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje). They take the warheads to The Pit, G.I. Joe's command center in Egypt, and upon arriving rendezvous with the head of the G.I. Joe Team, General Hawk (Dennis Quaid). Hawk takes command of the warheads and excuses Duke and Ripcord, only to be convinced to let them join his group after Duke reveals that he knows the Baroness.

McCullen is revealed to be using the same nanotechnology to build an army of soldiers with the aid of the Doctor (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), planning on using the warheads to cause panic and bring about a new world order. Using a tracking device, McCullen locates the G.I. Joe Base and sends Storm Shadow (Byung-Hun Lee) and the Baroness to retrieve the warheads with assistance from Zartan (Arnold Vosloo). After a fight, Storm Shadow and the Baroness retrieve the warheads and take them to Baron DeCobray, the Baroness's husband, for him to weaponize. Making their way to Paris, the Joes pursue the Baroness and Storm Shadow but are unsuccessful in stopping them from launching the missile. The nanomites destroy the Eiffel Tower and some of the surrounding area before Duke manages to hit the kill switch, but in doing so he is captured and taken to McCullen's base under the Arctic.

The Joes locate the secret base and fly there as McCullen loads three missiles with nano-mite warheads. After Snake Eyes takes out one, Ripcord pursues the remaining missiles in a stolen M.A.R.S. prototype Night Raven jet while Scarlett, Breaker, and Snake Eyes infiltrate the base. Snake Eyes duels and prevails over Storm Shadow. Duke learns that the Doctor is Rex Lewis, Ana's brother believed to have been killed by a mistimed airstrike during a mission led by Duke. Rex had encountered Doctor Mindbender (Kevin O'Connor) in the bunker and became seduced with the nanomite technology, taking too long to retrieve the data and getting caught in the bombing which disfigured him. After freeing Duke, the Baroness gets subdued as the Doctor reveals he has implanted her with nanomites which has put her under his control for the past four years. Attempting to kill Duke, McCullen ends up being burned, so he and the Doctor flee to an escape vessel. Duke and the Baroness pursue him while the Joes fall back when the Doctor activates the base's self destruct sequence.

The Doctor assumes the identity of Cobra Commander, having healed McCullen's burned face with nanomites, encasing it in silver and naming him "Destro", which places McCullen under the Doctor's control. They are captured by G.I. Joe soon after. On the supercarrier USS Flagg, the Baroness is placed in protective custody until they can remove the nanomites from her body. Meanwhile, Zartan, having had his physical appearance altered by nanomites, infiltrates the White House during the missile crisis and assumes the identity of the President of the United States of America (Jonathan Pryce).

I Know Who Killed Me

The quiet suburb of New Salem is being terrorized by a serial killer who abducts and tortures young women, holding them captive for weeks before murdering them. Aubrey Fleming (Lindsay Lohan), a talented pianist and aspiring writer, appears to be his latest victim when she disappears during a night out with her friends. As the days tick by, the special FBI Task Force convened to track the killer begins to lose hope of finding her before it’s too late.

Late one night, a driver discovers a young woman by the side of a deserted road, disheveled and critically injured. The girl is rushed to the hospital, where Aubrey’s distraught parents, Susan (Julia Ormond) and Daniel (Neal McDonough), wait by her side as she slips in and out of consciousness. When she is finally able to speak, she shocks everyone by claiming to be a down-on-her luck stripper named Dakota Moss, who has never heard of Aubrey Fleming. Convinced Aubrey is suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, her doctors, parents, and law enforcement officials can only wait for rest and therapy to restore her memory. But after returning to her parents’ suburban home, she continues to insist she is not who they think she is, despite bearing bizarre wounds identical to those of the serial killer’s previous victims.

The FBI agents are further mystified when they search Aubrey’s laptop and discover a short story about a girl with an alter ego named Dakota. When Dakota begins to suspect she may be Aubrey’s identical twin sister, Susan shows her a video of her pregnancy ultrasound clearly revealing there was only one fetus in her womb. Confused and terrified, Dakota starts seeing visions of a menacing figure slowly butchering his captive. Convinced time is running out both for Aubrey and herself, Dakota confronts Daniel with a shocking truth that leads them on a frantic hunt for the killer.

Aubrey and Dakota are twins, born to Virginia Sue Moss, a crack addict. Moss gave birth to them the same time the Flemings had their own child, who died in the incubator. Daniel Fleming quietly raises one as his own daughter, paying Virginia over the years by mail. Dakota finds the envelopes and attempts to find her sister, when she suffers sympathetic resonance from her twin's wounds, and is found by the highway. It turns out the two are stigmatic twins, with a psychic connection that lets them share pain, communicate, and even share experiences, which explains some of Aubrey's stories.

After investigating the grave of Aubrey's recently murdered friend, Jennifer Toland (Stacy Lynn Gabel), Dakota finds a blue ribbon from a piano competition, with a message from Jennifer's (and Aubrey's) piano teacher, Douglas Norquist (Thomas Tofel). Dakota realizes Norquist, the teacher, murdered Jennifer and abducted Aubrey after they expressed intentions to quit their piano lessons, taking off their fingers, arm, and a leg in a twisted act of retribution. Dakota and Daniel confront Norquist. Daniel dies in the process, but Dakota cuts off Norquist's hand and stabs him in his gut and neck with one of his own blades. She then finds Aubrey where Norquist buried her alive and frees her. The movie ends with Aubrey and Dakota lying together on the ground, looking out into the night.

The Da Vinci Code (2006)

A man revealed to be Jacques Saunière is being pursued by a mysterious hooded character known as Silas through the Grand Gallery in the Louvre in Paris. Silas demands the location of the Priory's clef de voûte or "keystone." Under threat of death, Saunière finally confesses the keystone is kept in the sacristy of Church of Saint-Sulpice, "beneath the Rose." Silas thanks him, and then shoots him in the stomach.

Meanwhile, American symbologist Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks), who is in Paris as an AUP guest lecturer on symbols and the sacred feminine, is contacted by the French police, and summoned to the Louvre to view the crime scene. He discovers the dying Saunière had created an intricate display using black light ink and his own body and blood. Captain Bezu Fache (Jean Reno) asks him for his interpretation of the puzzling scene.

Silas calls a mysterious man known as "The Teacher", revealing that he has killed all four protectors of the keystone and that all confirmed the same location. He dons a metal cilice on his thigh and proceeds to flagellate himself with a whip for the sins of murder. Facilitated by Bishop Manuel Aringarosa, Silas then travels to Saint-Sulpice and is admitted by an elderly nun; left alone, he excavates beneath the floor of the church to find a stone saying only JOB 38:11. He confronts the nun, who quotes the passage: "Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further." Realizing that he has been deceived, Silas is enraged and kills the nun.

Sophie Neveu (Audrey Tautou), a cryptologist with the French police, enters the Louvre as well and slips Langdon a message which leads him to the men's room. There, Sophie meets him and tells him that he is being tracked, a GPS tracking dot has been (unknown by him) slipped into his jacket and that he is a primary suspect in the murder case because of a line of text found by the corpse ("P.S. find Robert Langdon"). Sophie however, believes that Saunière, who is revealed to be her grandfather, wanted to pass a hidden message on to her, and that he had wanted to bring Langdon into the equation so that he could help her crack the code.

Having bought some time by removing the tracking device, the pair begin exploring the Louvre, finding more anagram messages that Saunière had left behind. Many of these relate to Leonardo da Vinci's art, and the pair find a key with a Fleur-de-lis behind Madonna of the Rocks.

Pursued by the French police and cut off from the United States Embassy, the pair escape to the Bois de Boulogne where Langdon closely inspects the key. He notices an inscription on the side - an address. The address directs them to the Depository Bank of Zurich where the key is used for a safety deposit box.

In the bank, they find Saunière's deposit box and open it using the 10 digit Fibonacci numbers in order (1123581321). Inside the box, they find a rosewood container, which contains a cryptex: a cylindrical container with five alphabetical dials which must be arranged in the correct sequence to spell out a 5-letter code word, in order to open and access the parchment message inside. Using force to open the cryptex would break a vial of vinegar inside, which would dissolve the parchment and destroy the message.

Unfortunately, the police are called by a security guard and they are forced to leave. The bank manager, Andre Vernet, assists them in escaping by taking them as passengers in an armoured van to escape the routine checks of the police. In the back of the truck Langdon and Neveu have a lengthy discussion about the cryptex and Neveu says that her grandfather often played games with her involving cryptexes. Langdon says that the cryptex might hold valuable information or another clue about what they are trying to discover. Eventually, they come to a sudden stop and Vernet forces them at gunpoint to give him the cryptex. Langdon tricks Vernet and disarms him and he and Sophie escape with the cryptex in their hands.

Langdon suggests that they visit his friend, Leigh Teabing (Ian McKellen), for assistance to opening the cryptex. Leigh Teabing turns out to be an enthusiastic seeker of the Holy Grail, which he believes is not actually a cup but instead Mary Magdalene, who was driven away because Jesus's followers didn't want to follow a woman after their leader was killed. Mary was pregnant at the time, and Teabing tells Sophie that a secret society was formed to protect the descendants of Jesus. Jacques Saunière was believed to be a part of this society and Teabing suspects that he was training Sophie to join it also. Silas, meanwhile, breaks into Teabing's mansion and attempts to steal the cryptex. Teabing uses his cane to knock Silas out and they escape again, taking the butler, Remy Jean, and Silas with them. The group escapes in Teabing's plane, following the next clue to London.

It is revealed that Remy Jean is actually a follower of The Teacher as well, however he is killed by the mysterious man after freeing Silas. Silas is attacked by the police and, in the ensuing gunfire, accidentally shoots Bishop Manuel Aringarosa. In his grief, Silas dies in police-assisted suicide and Aringarosa is taken to the hospital, as well as being arrested by Fache for betraying him.

As Langdon gets closer to solving the mystery, he is betrayed by Teabing, who is revealed to be The Teacher. Teabing explained that he wanted to find Mary Magdalene's remains to prove he was correct about the Holy Grail and threatens to shoot Sophie if Langdon does not crack the code. Langdon responds by throwing the cryptex into the air. Teabing catches it, but drops it, and it hits the ground. The vial of vinegar breaks and apparently spreads onto the document, destroying it.

After Teabing is arrested, however it is revealed that Langdon had cracked the code ('Apple') and removed the clue from the cryptex before throwing it. Using the clue, they travel to Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland where Magdalene's remains had previously been hidden. There, they meet other members of the secret organization that protected her. It is revealed that Sophie is actually Magdalene's descendant and therefore is the current living descendant of Jesus Christ. They vow to keep her safe. Langdon and Sophie part ways shortly after.

Langdon accidentally cuts himself while shaving and the line of blood on the sink reminds him of the Rose Line. He follows the Rose Line and finds the location of the Holy Grail, buried under the pyramid in the Louvre. Langdon then kneels above Mary Magdalene's tomb as the Templar Knights did before him.

Shooter (2007) DVDRip

Bob Lee Swagger (Mark Wahlberg), a retired USMC Force Recon Gunnery Sergeant and Scout Sniper, is one of the few snipers in the world whose marksmanship abilities allow him to "take out a target from a mile away." He reluctantly leaves a self-imposed exile from his isolated mountain home at the request of Colonel Isaac Johnson (Danny Glover). Johnson appeals to his expertise and patriotism to help track down an assassin who plans on shooting the president from a great distance with a high powered rifle. Johnson gives him a list of three cities where the President is scheduled to visit so Swagger could determine if an attempt could be made at any of them.

Swagger assesses each of the locations and determines that a site in Philadelphia would be most conducive to a long range assassination attempt. He passes this information to Johnson, who purportedly arranges for a response. This turns out to be a set-up: while Swagger is working with Johnson's agents — including a local police officer — to find the rumored assassin, the Ethiopian archbishop is instead assassinated while standing next to the president. Swagger is shot by the officer, but manages to escape. The agents tell the police and public that Swagger is the shooter, and stage a massive manhunt for the injured sniper. However, Swagger has a stroke of luck — he meets a rookie FBI special agent, Nick Memphis (Michael Peña), disarms him and steals his car.

He uses the first aid supplies in the car to treat his wounds and escapes by driving into the Delaware River while being chased. He then takes refuge with Sarah Fenn (Kate Mara), widow of Swagger's late spotter and close friend Donnie Fenn, killed years before in a mission in Africa where Swagger himself barely survived. She saves his life by cleaning and stitching Swagger's gunshot wounds, and he later convinces her to help him contact Memphis with information on the conspiracy. Memphis is blamed for allowing Swagger's escape and is disciplined for negligence. He independently learns that Swagger may have been framed for the assassination by finding several inconsistencies in the evidence and witness statements provided to the FBI by an unnamed private agency.

When the rogue agents realize their secret is compromised, they kidnap Memphis and attempt to stage his suicide. Swagger tails the agents and kills Memphis' captors with a scoped .22 rifle equipped with a homemade silencer. Swagger and Memphis then join forces and visit a firearms expert (Levon Helm) in Athens, Tennessee. Together they plot to capture who they think is the real assassin, an ex-sniper allied with Colonel Johnson. Once they find him in Lynchburg, Virginia, he commits suicide after revealing that the archbishop was actually the real target and he was murdered in order to prevent him from speaking out against U.S. involvement in the genocide of an Ethiopian village. The genocide was carried out on behalf of a consortium of American corporate oil interests headed by corrupt Senator Charles Meachum (Beatty); Swagger learns that the mission where Fenn was killed was also a part of the genocide as they were tasked to cover the withdrawal of the contractors assigned to the job. Swagger records the ex–sniper's confession of his involvement in the African genocide. Then, with Memphis's assistance, he escapes from an ambush by killing 24 mercenaries.

Meanwhile, other rogue mercenaries have kidnapped Sarah in order to lure Swagger out of hiding. With his new evidence and cat-and-mouse strategy, Swagger and Memphis are able to rescue her when Colonel Johnson and Senator Meachum arrange a meeting to exchange their hostage for the evidence of their wrongdoing. After killing several enemy snipers in an isolated mountain range and rescuing Sarah, Swagger and Memphis finally surrender to the FBI.

Later appearing in a closed meeting with the Director of the FBI and the United States Attorney General present, Swagger clears his name by loading a rifle round (supplied by Memphis) into his rifle (which is there as evidence since it was supposedly used in the killing), aiming it at the Colonel and pulling the trigger — which fails to fire the round. Swagger explains that every time he leaves his house, he takes out all the firing pins replacing them with slightly shorter ones, thus rendering them unable to fire until he returns. Although Swagger is exonerated, Colonel Johnson takes advantage of a legal loophole — the Ethiopian genocide is outside American legal jurisdiction — and walks free. The attorney general approaches Swagger and states that as a law enforcement official, he must abide by the law ("It's not the Wild West anymore, you can't just clean up the streets with a gun, even though sometimes, that's exactly what's needed). Afterwards, the Colonel and the Senator plan their next move while at the Senator's vacation house — only to be interrupted by an attack by Swagger. He kills both conspirators, one of the Colonel's aides and two bodyguards, then breaks open a gas valve before leaving. The fire in the fireplace ignites the gas, blowing up the house. The final scene shows Swagger getting into a car with Sarah and driving away.

I Am Legend

The film begins in the fall of 2009 on an interview talking about the cure rate from the "new" Krippen drug (named after the scientist (Emma Thompson) who created it). In September 2012, U.S. Army virologist Lieutenant Colonel Robert Neville (Will Smith) is left as the last healthy human in New York City. Three years earlier, a cure for cancer made from a re-engineered measles virus was developed with a 100% success rate. However, the virus mutated into a lethal strain that spread worldwide and killed 5.4 billion people (90% of humanity). Of the 600 million survivors, only 12 million people were naturally immune to the virus. The rest degenerated into bald, pale, aggressive beings referred to as "Darkseekers,"[4] who hunted down the immune humans as prey. The "Darkseekers" are so-called for hiding in buildings and dark places during the day due to a painful intolerance to UV radiation. The infected exhibit increased speed, agility, aggression, and strength. These abilities stem from an increased metabolic rate, which also consumes the infected with an overwhelming hunger which makes them resort to cannibalism. Despite their primal behavior, the Darkseekers seem to retain some basic problem-solving intelligence, animalistic cunning, and the capacity to organize themselves.

Neville, who lost his wife Zoe (Salli Richardson) and daughter Marley (Willow Smith) in a helicopter accident during the chaotic quarantine of Manhattan in December 2009, has a daily routine that includes experimentation on infected rats to find a cure for the virus and trips through an empty, decaying Manhattan to collect supplies from abandoned homes and hunt deer that have moved into the city. He also waits each day for a response to his continuous recorded AM radio broadcasts, which instruct any uninfected survivors to meet him at mid-day at the South Street Seaport. Neville's isolation is broken only by the companionship of his female German Shepherd Samantha ("Sam") and interaction with mannequins he has set up as patrons of a video store.

When one of his experiments on rats shows a promising treatment, Neville sets a snare trap and captures an infected woman, as an enraged Darkseeker, the alpha male of the pack, locks eyes with him. Back in his laboratory, located in the basement of his heavily fortified Washington Square Park home, Neville attempts to cure the infected woman without success.

The next day, after finding one of his mannequins was apparently moved to the front of Grand Central Terminal, he is caught in a trap and passes out. When Neville regains consciousness and manages to get free, it is dusk and he is attacked by a pack of infected dogs set on him by the alpha male. Although Neville and Sam manage to kill the dogs, one of them bites Sam. The dogs are immune to the virus when it is airborne but not when there is blood contact. Initially Neville brings Sam home and injects her with a strain of his serum, but when she shows signs of infection and tries to attack him, Neville is forced to euthanize her by strangulation.

The next night, overcome by grief and rage after burying Sam, Neville attacks a group of the infected with his car, intending to end his misery by killing as many as he can. Despite killing a large number of Darkseekers, they overwhelm Neville and nearly kill him before he is rescued by a pair of immune survivors, an adult woman named Anna (Alice Braga) and a young boy named Ethan (Charlie Tahan), who have heard his radio broadcasts. Anna and Ethan take the injured Neville back to his home, where Anna explains that they are making their way to a putative survivors' camp in Bethel, Vermont.

The next night, the alpha male leads a large group of infected in an attack on the house, having followed Anna and Neville back the night before. The Darkseekers begin by charging at the house. Neville tries to use strong UV light to push them back, but the infected easily tear through the lights and continue to charge. Neville then uses planted mines. At first it works, but there are more Darkseekers than Neville thought, and they start getting closer to Neville's home. Neville tries to find Anna and Ethan. Before he can, he faces off one-on-one against the alpha male, nearly losing before forcing him to fall back. Neville realizes that this was just to distract him as another Darkseeker got into the house and tore at the roof from the inside so that the other infected can gain entry. After saving Anna and Ethan they hear the infected climbing the house, so they retreat into the basement laboratory. They seal themselves in a room with the infected woman, where they discover that Neville's treatment is working: the subject has reverted to a more human form. Unfortunately, the infected break in and the alpha male begins to break through the plexiglass separating them. Discovering that the last treatment has been successful, Neville draws a vial of the infected woman's blood and gives it to Anna before shutting Anna and Ethan in the coal chute. He uses an M67 hand grenade to wipe out the attackers at the cost of his own life. Anna and Ethan escape to Vermont and locate the survivors' colony, where Anna hands over the cure. In a voice-over, Anna claims that the survivors are Neville's legacy, as his fight for a cure became legend.

Operation Endgame (2010) DVDRip

The film starts with a man (Joe Anderson) walking towards a cafe, and sitting next to a girl (Maggie Q) After briefly chatting, it is revealed that they had arranged to meet there and the man follows the girl. She leads him to an office where the man meets another man, Chariot(Rob Corddry). Chariot tells him that all of them have names based on tarot cards, the girl's name is 'High Priestess' and he names the man as 'The Fool'. As they are waiting for the elevator, it is revealed that the entire building is being observed by an office that monitors the whole building. The surveillance office is managed by two men, Neal (Michael Hitchcock) and Carl(Tim Bagley). While in the elevator going to the office, Chariot reveals that Fool is actually there to replace an ex-member, Strength ("Apparently wasn't strong enough - Chariot). On the way to the office, Chariot reveals what the organization, called The Factory, does.

They are separated into two teams, Alpha and Omega. The three of them are in team Omega. Omega is there to stop wars, and generally maintain peace and order, while Alpha on the other hand promotes wars and the like. Once in the office, Chariot introduces the other members of Omega team, Judgement (Ving Rhames) and Emperor (Bob Odenkirk). Fool also meets the Alpha team members, Tower (Brandon T. Jackson),Magician (Adam Scott), Hierophant (Emilie de Ravin) and Empress (Ellen Barkin). Chariot brings Fool to meet the boss of The Factory, The Devil. There, Fool meets his old flame, Temperance (Odette Yustman). Devil talks briefly, then sends them away, asking them to be punctual for a meeting later. The surveillance office is shown to have a server breakdown. Meanwhile, both Alpha and Omega teams are at the meeting room, waiting for Devil, who is uncharacteristically late. Chariot tells Fool that there used to be another member, Hermit (Zach Galifianakis) who used to take assassination jobs before he got diabetes.

Worried, they go to his office, only to find him dead. They discover that he has initiated Operation Endgame, a final move that will initiate a lockdown, and after a certain time, detonate a bomb meant to kill all of them. Both teams head back to the meeting room and discuss their next course of action, which ends up being to search for a way out. They decide to work in pairs with someone from the opposite team, Emperor pairing with Empress, Chariot with Magician, Judgement with Hierophant, High Priestess with Tower, and finally Fool with Temperance. As they start exploring the place to find an exit, the people of Alpha teams start fighting with their Omega team counterpart. Empress fights with Emperor using a golf club, who fights back with an umbrella. When Emperor was about to deal a finishing blow, Empress kills him with an office tool. As Hierophant and Judgement try to find a hidden passageway, Hierophant uses a table leg and strikes Judgement in the head with it, dealing him a fatal blow instantenously.

Magician and Chariot goes into a store room, and Magician tries to kill Chariot with a pair of scissors. He fails, and after a brief struggle, Chariot stabs Magician using the scissors before escaping. Tower and High Priestess fight, and while High Priestess has the upper hand at first, Tower grabs a weapon and kills her. However, Chariot was standing behind Tower, and gives chase. Chariot eventually kills Tower using a paper shredder. Fool and Temperance go to the Devil's office to search for clues. There, they rekindle their love. When they were about to have sex, Temperance uses a lipstick gun to try to kill Fool, but she couldn't bring herself to shoot him. Fool then goes in search of an exit, and meets Hierophant, who tries to kill him. He also meets the Hermit, who has been said to know the way out. However, he disappears in an instant. Fool loses the fight with Hierophant, and just as he is about to be killed, Temperance comes and kills her with what appears to be the blade of a paper cutter. It is also shown that Carl and Neil requires the assistance of Susan, a senior officer when they are unable to get the system back on track. Susan then realizes that the emergency codes has been switched in conjunction with Barack Obama becoming president.

Chariot then meets up with Fool and Temperance, and they go back to Devil's office, where Temperance has found a safe. Empress and Magician teams up, and Empress orders Magician to go into a tunnel that she suspects lead to the outside. When Empress leaves, Hermit comes and seals the entrance to the tunnel with a vending machine. Hearing the noise made by Magician who is stuck in an air vent, Chariot sends Temperance to check outside. Fool cracks the safe, and obtains a few things, including a disc which he keeps without Chariot knowing, and he also finds a hint to the shutdown code for Project Endgame. He then proceeds to type in the code. At the same time, Chariot makes a makeshift incendiary grenade and chucks it into the air vent, causing a power outage. Temperance, who met and was talking to Empress while checking outside, is shocked when Magician falls out of an air vent, burnt to a crisp. While Empress was distracted, Temperance escapes. She meets up with Chariot and Fool, and the three of them go on their way. Chariot starts talking about a previous mission which was botched because of an 'outside hire', who tripped some wires. Chariot mentions that the outside hire was shot 2 inches above the chest.

Temperance then remembers that when she and Fool were making out, he had a scar on his chest. They realize that Fool was the outside hire, and Chariot, in a fit of rage, attempts to kill Fool. However, Hermit suddenly appears and kills Chariot with a pair of scissors. Temperance and Fool proceeds to run before Temperance stays back to fight Hermit. Fool continues searching for an exit, and encounters Empress, who is now armed with a burning putter. Temperance wins the fight thanks to her lipstick gun, and squeezes information out of Hermit, revealing the position of the exit. She rushes out to see Fool and Empress at a standstill. Temperance goes to fight Empress while Fool is asked to look for the exit button which is under the water cooler. He finds it, and Temperance kills Empress using the water cooler. They both head into the exit, which is a lift, and starts kissing. Carl and Neil, meanwhile, uncover an audio tape by Devil before his death.

Devil said that he possesses a disc that has every mistake and scandal in history. At the end of the tape, he reveals that Susan was his lover. Susan acknowledges this. As the lift arrives in a toilet at the upper levels of the building (which is actually a normal office, The Factory was a subterranean structure, and has blown up), it is shown that Fool killed Temperance while inside the lift. He kills a bystander who was in the toilet, stealing his suit to cover his blood-stained clothes. He calls Susan, and calls her 'Mom' and says that he has the disc, which contains "Every single one of their fuck-ups". Susan tells him that an airplane is ready for him, and kills both Carl and Neil. The movie closes with Fool walking out of the building and stepping into a cab.

Splice (2010)

The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005)

In an extremely rare decision, the Catholic Church officially recognized the demonic possession of the 19 year-old college freshman. Told in flashbacks, The Exorcism of Emily Rose chronicles the haunting trial of the priest accused of negligence resulting in the death of the young girl who is believed to be possessed and the lawyer who takes on the task of defending him

Lawyer Erin Bruner (Laura Linney) takes on the church and the state when she fights in defense of a priest, Father Richard Moore (Tom Wilkinson) who performed an exorcism on a young woman, Emily Rose (Jennifer Carpenter). Bruner must battle the state lawyer as well as her own loneliness, as she realizes that her career so far has not fulfilled her. She takes the case, albeit reluctantly, because she believes it will elevate her to senior partner at her law firm. The priest agrees to let her defend him only if he is allowed to tell Emily's story.

The trial begins with the calling of several medical experts by the prosecutor, Ethan Thomas (Campbell Scott). One expert testifies that Emily was suffering from both epilepsy and psychosis. The defense contests that she may have actually been possessed, though Bruner is careful never to say that in so many words intially. Indeed Bruner explains that Emily was suffering from something that neither medicine nor psychology could explain, and that Father Moore as well as her family realized this and tried to help in another way. Several flashbacks show how this began. Alone in her dorm room one night, at 3:00 AM, she smells a strange burning smell from the hallway. When she checks on it, she sees the door open and shut by itself several times. When she goes back to her room, she sees a jar of pencils and pens move by itself. Additionally, her covers roll themselves down, and a great weight seems to press down on her, a force which also proceeds to choke her and seemingly to possess her momentarily. Through these episodes she wonders if they are really happening or if it is just a hallucination she is experiencing. She suffers more "visions", is hospitalized, and diagnosed with epilepsy. She is given anti-seizure medications which she claims do not work. Her visions continue, as do her severe bodily contortions.

She leaves school and returns to live with her parents. She and her parents become convinced she is not epileptic or mentally ill but is possessed by demons. They ask for their local parish priest to be called in to perform an exorcism, and the Church agrees. The prosecution counters that all this could be explained by a combination of epilepsy (the contortions) and psychosis (the visions).

Shelter (2010) DVDRip

Shelter follows a brother and sister, Billy Dawson (Jamie Chadwick) and Jessica Dawson (Acacia Brea Hill), as they cope with the aftermath of their father's suicide. As the children find themselves accidentally homeless and alone, they attempt to journey from their home in Campbell River, across the west coast of Vancouver Island, allowing the film to take advantage of the scenery of the region. Shelter is a touching and uplifting film project[citation needed] that balances humor and tragedy, stirring emotions and forcing us[who?] all to take another look at the people and circumstances we all take for granted. This movie is especially big because the kids have all taken on extra work besides acting, they will be learning about hair and make-up, set design, production, directing, lighting, and shot angles. As director Jacqueline Chadwick has said before, she doesn't go small

Street Fighter : The Legend of Chun Li

Powerful forces are converging on the streets of Bangkok. They are warriors, some of whom possess extraordinary abilities, all of whom are determined to see their side prevail. Some fight for us; the others for unlimited power. Now, they are preparing for the ultimate battle—of terror versus beauty, light versus darkness, and good versus evil.

The forces of darkness are led by Bison (Neal McDonough), a crime boss of seemingly limitless power, and whose past holds a shocking secret. Bison's syndicate, Shadaloo, is taking over the slums of the Thai capital, a task overseen by Balrog (Michael Clarke Duncan), a massively built enforcer and killer. Also in Bison's employ is the assassin Vega (Taboo, of the group The Black Eyed Peas), a masked talon-wielding warrior, whose weapon is tailor-made for slashing and stabbing attacks. Bison's attache is the beautiful but deadly Cantana (Josie Ho).

As Bison instigates a wave of violence in the slum districts, grabbing power and land no matter what the costs to its residents, a team of heroes emerges. Chun-Li (Kristin Kreuk) is a half-Caucasian/half-Asian beauty who gave up a life of privilege to become a street fighter, battling for those who cannot fight for themselves. Her kung fu master, Gen (Robin Shou), once a feared criminal, now fights for the forces of good. Equally determined to stop Bison is Interpol cop Charlie Nash (Chris Klein), who has tracked the crime boss all over the world, and Nash's partner, gangland homicide detective Maya Sunee (Moon Bloodgood).

Ong Bak 3 (2010)

The film opens on Tien (Tony Jaa) sleeping with a torture collar around his head and arms. He is awoken by guards who splash him with water, before removing the collar. Tien then has chains wrapped around his forearms, and is tortured with Kendo sticks struck across his body, and choked him with bamboo. After he attempts to flee, he is further restrained, and on the orders of Lord Rajasena, his elbows and knees are snapped, before he is further beaten bloody.

As Lord Rajasena experiences nightmares because of a curse that has been placed on him, Tien's guerilla fighters attempt to retrieve his dead corpose, but the Crow Ghost (Dan Chupong) appears and kills them. Lord Rajasena then offers to hire the Crow Ghost, but Crow Ghost refuses his offer and counters with an offer to remove the curse upon Rajasena. Rajasena orders his men to decapitate Tien's corpse, but before this can be carried out, a man arrives with a message on paper indicating that he will take the corpse, much to Rajasena's ire. The messenger returns Tien's corpse to the Kana Khone villagers, where Pim and Mhen are present. The village is then attacked, but the invaders are repelled, and the corpse preserved. Feeling guilty over what happened to Tien, Master Bua shaves his head and becomes a Buddhist monk.

Pim recreates a sculpture of the Ong Bak head, and brings Tien back to life through reincarnation, though Tien, still crippled from his beating and requiring a cane to walk, decides to commit suicide for his failure to avenge his father, but is dissuaded by Mhen. Tien then embarks on a rehabilitation regimen with the help of Master Bua.

Rajasena visits the Crow at his dilapidated temple in an attempt to remove his curse, but the Crow reveals that his true motive is to usurp Rajasena and claim his power as King. When Rajasena tries to kill the Crow, the Crow laughs and ejects him from the temple, and then dispatches Rajasena's guards as well, before decapitating Rajasena. Rajasena's severed head curses the Crow with a miserable fate, but the Crow, now king, merely smiles.

As Tien meditates, he is ambushed by Rajasena's guards, but defeats them. He returns to his village to find it in ruins, and the surviving villagers kidnapped and enslaved by the Crow, including Pim. The Crow then uses his dark magic to summon an eclipse. When Pim reveals herself as Tien's companion, she is taken to Crow's palace by his guards, and as Tien, who has arrived on the palace atop a large statue, watches, her throat is cut.

Enraged, Tien fights his way through the guards, slaughtering them, before confronting the Crow, who launches a spear at Tien's chest. As he falls to his knees, defeated, he remembers Master Bua's words, and finds himself again atop the statue, revealing his and Pim's deaths to have been an illusion caused by the Crow's magic. Lightning then strikes the Crow as the eclipse is dispelled, dispatching the guards. The Crow attempts to flee, but is confronted by Tien. The Crow attempts again to throw a spear at Tien, who, understanding not to react as he did in the illusion, catches it easily, and throws it aside. He then attacks the Crow, fatally impaling him on an elephant tusk.

Tien and Pim return to the village, where they and the rest of the village pray before the head of Ong Bak.

THE GHOST WRITER (2010)

When a successful British ghostwriter (Ewan McGregor) agrees to complete the memoirs of former British Prime Minister Adam Lang, his agent assures him it is the opportunity of a lifetime. But the project seems doomed from the start — not least because his predecessor on the project, Lang's long-term aide, died in an apparent accident. The ghostwriter flies out to work on the project, in the middle of winter, at an oceanfront house on Martha's Vineyard. But the day he arrives, a former British foreign minister named Rycart accuses Lang of authorizing the illegal seizure of suspected terrorists and handing them over for torture by the CIA — a possible war crime. Lang faces the threat of prosecution by the International Criminal Court, unless he stays in the U.S. or goes to another country that does not recognize that court.

The controversy brings reporters and protesters swarming to the security perimeter of the island home where Lang is staying with his wife, Ruth (Olivia Williams), and his personal assistant (and mistress), Amelia (Kim Cattrall). As the ghostwriter works, he uncovers clues suggesting his predecessor may have stumbled on a dark secret concerning Lang and that somehow this information is hidden in the manuscript he left behind. During Lang's absence, the neglected Ruth sleeps with the writer. The writer also meets an old man (Eli Wallach) living locally, who tells him that there is no possible way the current could have taken the body of the dead writer from the ferry where he disappeared to the beach location where it was discovered. The old man also reveals that a woman saw flashlights on the beach the night the body was discovered, but later fell down her stairs and went into a coma.

The next morning, the ghostwriter follows the GPS in the car of the previous writer, which leads him to the estate of Professor Paul Emmett (Tom Wilkinson), who also appears in college photographs with Lang which had been left behind by the previous ghost-writer. The ghostwriter can tell that Emmett is hiding something, and an internet search points to him as a CIA agent. As the writer leaves Emmett's estate, he is followed by a car, but eludes it. The writer boards the ferry, but then flees the boat as he sees the car that had followed him drive onboard. He decides to spend the night on the mainland, and stays in a small motel.

The writer then contacts Rycart (Robert Pugh), whose phone number had been among the effects of his predecessor, and who tells him that the previous writer had said that he had hidden information in the "beginnings" of the book. The men cannot, however, find anything in the manuscript's early pages. Lang then calls and the writer is told by Rycart to go with Lang. The writer warns that Lang will be able to avoid Rycart no matter what he does. On the plane, the writer accuses Lang of being a CIA agent recruited by Emmett, but Lang derides his suggestion.

Upon departing the aircraft, Lang is assassinated, apparently by an anti-war protestor who had lost a son. The apparent assassin is in turn shot by police. The writer is interviewed and US authorites take his passport so that he can stay and provide information. Despite Lang's death, the ghostwriter is asked to complete the book for posthumous publication.

During the launch party for the book, as he sees Ruth chatting with Emmett, the ghostwriter stumbles upon the final clues to the mystery, which were encrypted in the original manuscript. He underlines words at the beginning of each chapter. He thus discovers that Ruth has for years been a CIA agent, recruited by her former tutor Emmett; she has shaped Lang's every political decision to benefit the United States. After passing a note to Ruth of his discovery, the ghostwriter leaves the party with the original manuscript in hand. As he crosses the street off-camera, a car accelerates in his direction, and sound effects and flying papers indicate that he has been hit.

The Sorcerers Apprentice (2010)

In 740 AD, one of Merlin's (James A. Stephens) apprentices, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina), joins forces with the evil sorceress Morgana le Fay (Alice Krige), betraying Merlin. Morgana mortally wounds Merlin before his other apprentices, Balthazar Black (Nicolas Cage) and Veronica (Monica Bellucci), can stop her. While Balthazar battles Horvath, Morgana prepares to kill Balthazar, but is stopped by Veronica, who absorbs Morgana’s soul into her own body. As Morgana tries to kill Veronica from within, Balthazar stops her by imprisoning Morgana and Veronica in the Grimhold, a prison similar to a nesting doll.

Before dying, Merlin gives his remaining apprentice a dragon ring that will choose the Prime Merlinian, who will become Merlin's successor. Only the Prime Merlinian will be able to defeat Morgana. Throughout history Balthazar imprisons Morganians, sorcerers who try to release Morgana, including Horvath, into successive layers on the Grimhold while he searches for the successor.

In 2000 AD in Manhattan, 10-year-old Dave Stutler (Jake Cherry) encounters Balthazar in an antique store, who is as youthful as when Merlin gave him the ring. Hoping he is the successor, Balthazar gives him the dragon ring, which comes alive and locks onto Dave's finger. Dave accidentally opens the Grimhold, releasing Horvath. While battling for possession of the Grimhold, Balthazar and Horvath are imprisoned in a vase with a ten-year lock. Dave is humiliated when he is discovered by his teacher and classmates with his pants wet due to a vase that broke in his lap. There is no trace of the battle, so everyone believes Dave made it up.

Ten years later to the day, Dave (Jay Baruchel) is a physics student at New York University and has made the acquaintance of a childhood friend, Becky (Teresa Palmer). The mystical urn opens, and Horvath escapes first; he throws the urn out the window of an apartment building, but Balthazar escapes the urn just before it hits the ground and shatters. Horvath finds Dave, who is the last person he remembers possessing the Grimhold. Dave threw the Grimhold away after the battle, so he has no idea where it is. When Dave cannot tell him, Horvath unleashes a pack of wolves. Balthazar rescues Dave, and they escape atop a steel eagle.

Dave initially refuses to help Balthazar, wanting only a normal life, but agrees to help as long as Balthazar will leave Dave alone once the Grimhold is found. They track the Grimhold to Chinatown, where Horvath has released the next Morganian, a wizard named Sun Lok (Gregory Woo). Dave defeats Sun Lok, and Balthazar retrieves the Grimhold. Dave finds that he wants to learn to use magic after all, and agrees to become Balthazar's apprentice. He becomes romantically involved with Becky against Balthazar's wishes.

Horvath enlists celebrity magician Drake Stone (Toby Kebbell) to help him retrieve the Grimhold and defeat Balthazar and Dave, whom Horvath realizes is the Prime Merlinian. They attempt to kill Dave, but Balthazar saves him. Cued by Horvath, Dave demands to know the truth about Balthazar’s quest. Balthazar reveals that Morgana is trapped in the Grimhold, as well as Veronica; if Morgana escapes she will attempt "The Rising", a spell that will raise sorcerers from the dead, and use them to destroy the world. Dave, as the Prime Merlinian, and heir (albeit distant) to Merlin and his powers, is the only one who can defeat Morgana.

Horvath and Drake steal the Grimhold; once that is done, Horvath uses a spell to steal Drake's energy, killing him, and takes his ring. He releases the witch, Abigail Williams (Nicole Ehinger), from the last layer around the Grimhold and uses her to kidnap Becky. Once Abigail completes that, Horvath steals Abigail's energy and her pendant as well. Horvath threatens to kill Becky, forcing Dave to surrender the Grimhold and his ring. Balthazar goes to defeat Horvath and Morgana, knowing that without the ring Dave will be killed.

Horvath releases Morgana, who still possesses Veronica's body, from the Grimhold. Morgana begins the spell. Horvath animates the Charging Bull sculpture at the north end of Bowling Green park, which attacks Balthazar.

With Becky's help, Dave reaches them in time to defeat Horvath and stop Morgana from completing the Rising. Balthazar takes Morgana's soul from Veronica's body into his own. Morgana’s spirit escapes Balthazar's body, and begins to shoot energy bolts at Veronica, which causes Balthazar to take the damage, killing him. Her ethereal projection is about to incinerate them until Dave stops her, using magic without the ring, proving he is the Prime Merlinian. He battles Morgana, and using the same experiment that he had shown to Becky earlier, he defeats her, destroying her forever. Dave then saves Balthazar by jump-starting his heart. Balthazar reunites with Veronica, gifting her with a necklace he bought for her before she sacrificed herself. Dave and Becky fly to France on Balthazar's eagle.

After the end credits, Mickey Mouse's Fantasia wizard hat is seen in a glass jar, with Horvath's hat on a nearby table. A hand reaches out and takes it.
